Rachel Ng

Chief Operating Officer, Financial Services

We had been having the same internal conversations about AI for over a year. The readiness assessment gave us something we didn't have before β€” a shared, objective picture of where we actually stood. The opportunity map changed how we prioritised our technology investments for the year.

Suresh Kumar

Head of Digital Transformation, Logistics

The AI Strategy Roadmap workshops were the most practically useful sessions we've had with an external partner. The team didn't arrive with a pre-formed answer. They facilitated a process that helped us work out our own priorities β€” and the sequencing logic in the roadmap document reflected that genuinely.

Amanda Loh

General Counsel, Professional Services

The governance framework addressed something our board had been asking for, but that we hadn't been able to articulate properly internally. The documents were specific to our context β€” not a template with our name on it. The optional briefing session helped our compliance team considerably.

Henry Tan

CTO, Healthcare Technology

We came in thinking we'd get a list of AI tools to evaluate. What we got was far more useful β€” a clear picture of why our data infrastructure wasn't yet ready for the things we were considering, and a practical sequence for addressing that. It saved us from a significant misallocation of resources.

December 2024 Β· AI Readiness Assessment

LW

Li Wei

Managing Director, Asset Management

Our situation was complex β€” a regulated sector with multiple stakeholder groups and some existing AI tools already in use without proper governance. Vynapse navigated this well. The framework they produced was specific enough to actually implement, which is rare in this kind of work.

Maya Rajan

Strategy Director, Retail Group

The fixed fee was something our CFO appreciated immediately. After several experiences with consultants whose scope crept significantly, the clarity upfront was genuinely refreshing. The output matched what was scoped, and was delivered on time.

Challenge

Regional Bank: Governance Before Deployment

A Singapore-based regional bank was about to deploy an AI-assisted credit decisioning tool. Their legal team had raised governance concerns, but the business lacked a structured framework to assess or address them.

Solution

Vynapse conducted an AI Governance & Ethics Framework engagement with particular focus on model accountability and data usage principles relevant to credit decisions. The framework included an internal review process for new AI deployments.

Outcome

The bank deployed the credit tool within the governance structure developed during the engagement. The framework was subsequently adopted as the standard review process for all future AI deployments across the organisation. Timeline: four weeks.

Challenge

Logistics Group: From Pilot to Strategy

A mid-sized logistics company had run two AI pilots over eighteen months. Both had produced inconclusive results. Leadership was unsure whether the problem was the specific tools, the use cases, or something more fundamental about their data environment.

Solution

Vynapse conducted both a Readiness Assessment and a Strategy Roadmap engagement sequentially. The assessment identified fragmented data infrastructure as the root cause of pilot failures. The roadmap sequenced data foundation work before the next AI initiative.

Outcome

The company used the roadmap to secure internal budget for data infrastructure improvement. A third AI pilot, launched six months after the engagement concluded, reached production. Combined engagement timeline: eight weeks across both services.

Challenge

Professional Services Firm: New Service Line Evaluation

A boutique professional services firm was considering launching an AI-assisted service offering. Partners needed to understand whether their internal capabilities and data position could credibly support such an offering before committing to development.

Solution

Vynapse delivered an AI Readiness Assessment focused specifically on the proposed service offering's data and process requirements. The assessment was scoped to answer a narrow set of strategic questions rather than a broad organisational review.

Outcome

The assessment identified two viable implementation paths and one that was not viable without prior investment. The firm proceeded with one of the viable paths, with the opportunity map informing their product development priorities. Timeline: two and a half weeks.

What to expect from an initial call

  • 1

We'll ask about your organisation's context and what's driving your interest in AI strategy work

  • 2

We'll explain honestly where we think we can add value β€” and where we're probably not the right fit

  • 3

If there's a fit, we'll suggest an appropriate starting point and outline what that engagement would involve

Add your organisation's perspective.

The organisations described here came to us with different needs and different starting points. The common thread is that they found value in having an external, independent view of their AI situation. If your organisation is at a similar point, we're worth talking to.
